Cheryl Coon

Cheryl Coon joined the Office of Business and Financial Planning in May of 2022.  Cheryl manages the Five Year Financial plan and performs financial analysis and projection models. She assists in capital financing plans for the Lawrence and KU Medical Center campuses from planning to bond issuance and oversees post bond issuance compliance in conjunction with capital construction and related projects.  

Prior to joining Business and Financial Planning, Cheryl was as a Program Coordinator in Continuing Education at Johnson County Community College. Her Financial Planning and Analysis experience includes H&R Block and Sprint. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting from Pace University and is completing her masters in Adult Education at the University of South Dakota.
